COVID 19 – 3D Lifestyle Vs A Global Threat

Wednesday, April 1st, 2020

The COVID 19 is an epidemic, which has caused panic throughout the world and it has brought the marketplace to its knees in a matter of a couple of weeks. According to WHO’s report, the number of confirmed cases tested positive of COVID 19 are 737,577, confirmed number of deaths from this virus are 35,000 and the total countries or territories which have been affected by this pandemic are 169; and increasing. This virus started from the Chinese city Wuhan, and it has spread across the globe in no time. Before hitting Pakistan, it has brought massacre to developed countries like Italy, China, USA, the UK and many more.

This means that even countries with high-end healthcare protocols and systems could not grasp this virus from the roots and discard it from their daily lives. In the light of the situation, Pakistan’s healthcare protocols are much weaker – which means that businesses such as 3D Lifestyle and people themselves have to step up to defeat this pandemic; and drive it out of our environment. Here are some generic, yet important facts about the COVID 19, which people need to be familiar with:

  1. How Does The COVID 19 Spread?

Although experts across the globe are still learning about the virus, they do know that what we call the corona-viruses is a family of respiratory viruses, which include all such viruses such as SARS and the common cold This virus is spread through respiratory transmission, such as large droplets which travel through air when someone coughs or sneezes. Right now, experts are of the view that these droplets travel for only a few feet, but it is possible they travel longer than that, such as those of tuberculosis or measles.

  1. Who Is Most Vulnerable?

According to the research which has been carried out yet, it is seen that older adults in the age range of 45+, or those living with chronic health problems, for example, diabetes, heart disease or a lug disease are at a higher risk of being vulnerable to COVID 19. Also people who are in close contact with or have previously been in contact with a COVID 19 patient are more vulnerable, such as home workers and healthcare workers.

  1. What Are The Typical Symptoms Of COVID 19?

The most common symptoms of COVID 19 are cough, fever, runny nose, difficulty in breathing and tiredness. In more severe cases, the symptoms can be pneumonia or an infection in the lungs. The symptoms start to appear in 2 to 14 days; depending on the immune strength of a person.

  1. What Are The Globally Agreed Upon Precautionary Measures?

There are certain precautionary measures, which have been agreed upon by experts all over the world. These include:

  • Wash your hands frequently for almost 20 seconds, with a soap and using a hand sanitizer afterwards which carries at least 60% alcohol.
  • Wear a mask if you have been infected, or you believe that you are in an area which might have COVID 19 patients, such as hospitals.

3D Lifestyle & It’s Fight Against COVID 19

Wednesday, April 1st, 2020

Just a few days back the world was functioning normally, and the race to walk shoulder to shoulder with everyone was on. Then, one of the worst pandemics in the history of mankind hit the face of the earth and everything changed. From residential units to small-scale businesses, all the way to multinational firms, the course of work stopped for everyone. It started in Wuhan, China, and soon took the whole Chinese region in its grasp.

From China, it spread throughout Western Europe, the US, and then the middle-eastern terrains; and is still mildly under control in different parts of the world. As much as we know, this is a respiratory virus and can cause lack of breathing, lung failure and then death.Just like any other firm or business, we at 3D Lifestyle also took extreme and sought-after precautionary measures to ensure the safety of our clients, their families, our employees and anyone around us. Here are some of those measures we used in our fight against COVID 19.

Rescheduling Appointments:

One of the most important steps we took to ensure the interest of our clients and safeguard your money is to reschedule all the appointments we made before this pandemic struck the corporate marketplace. All appointments have been delayed till the pandemic or the lock down ends, and will be rescheduled according to the calendar once the clinics re-open. Moreover, clients who have been contacting in order to ask for information about their scheduled appointments, are being briefed about the current situation, and what can be the possible outcomes; including how their appointments shall be rescheduled.

Lock Down In Clinics:

The clinics have been closed until further notice from the government, and we have ensured that we inform each and every client with a pre-scheduled appointment; so they do not waste their time or risk their lives driving down to the clinics. Our clinics all over Pakistan have shutdown operations till now, and have provided in-time details about the future endeavors of our clinics.

Employee Protection:

Not only our clients, but our employees and their families well being is equally important to us. Our employees have been provided with working setups in their homes, and have been asked to work from home in order to make sure that their health is not compromised in any way.

In order to make sure that everyone is safe around you, it is important that we take a break from our socializing routines and maintain self-isolation in this time of need. The government is taking drastic measures to cope with the forthcoming, and we as citizens of the nation need to ensure that we play our part as well. As 3D Lifestyle, we have ensured to take all the necessary precautions keeping the safety of our employees, clients and their families as our priority. We urge everyone to do the same, as keeping a distance is today will allow us to be together again tomorrow!

Top Things To Do During Lock Down

Wednesday, April 1st, 2020

We know that self-isolation or quarantine was not exactly in your 2020 to-do bucket list, but since the world has boarded this bandwagon together, there must be something to do to pass this time of misery. Baby boomers, adults, teens and even the kids around the globe are in this together, and making sure to comfort each other is the only option we will get out of this sanely.

Now, we know how difficult it might be to find out what to do with your life, when you have been living the old 9 to 5 desk job routine, but we also know that there were many things that you might have wanted to do; but could ever take out time for it. To make sure our customers and anyone reading this can get help with listing down things to do during this lock down, team 3D Lifestyle has prepared a list themselves. So, here are a few things to consider doing at home during COVID19!

Write A Journal:

One of the most common, yet creative things to do when you’re in self-isolation is to start writing a journal. Most of us have once in our lives thought of writing a journal. Some people even started, but could not continue. Well, this is the right time for it. You can write a journal, start a blog or even write poetry if you have a knack for it.

Make Pakistan Greener:

Grow herbs! A very common habit amidst the women in Pakistan is to have their own miniature garden at home. Well, now is the ripe time to turn a normal garden into a realm of herbs. Grow fruits, vegetables and flowers. Not only will that make the environment easier to breathe in, but will also make the time a delight.

Draft An Exercise Routine:

Honestly speaking, this might not be the easiest thing to do, but it is much easier than maintaining a gym routine in your not-so-quarantine life. You can do cardio exercises, skipping, push-ups and even yoga. Until the lock down, this will boost not only your energy against the virus, but also your immune system.

Sew For The Winters:

If you need a new pair of sweaters, mittens or even a wool cap for the next winters, you might as well start now. Sew beautiful sweaters and clothes for your whole family, and make the next winter memorable.

Draw, Paint, Compose:

There are uncountable people in Pakistan, who are passionate about certain forms of arts and are extremely good at their respective passions as well. However, the race to make money stumbles upon many dreams. Well, if you have been one of these people, this self-isolation is giving you a chance to connect to your inner self and bring out the artists in you. You can draw, paint or even compose songs; and live the life you always wanted.

Communicate:

Last but certainly not the least, communicate. In Pakistan, the communication between children and their parents has drastically fallen below average; some due to the technological advancement while others might be due to the busy lifestyle. However, this might be the best time in your life to sit with your parents, and talk about life or hear old stories from them. For parents, the situation is vice versa.

There are countless things you can think of doing while you are in self-isolation. However before that, you need to free your mind from preoccupied thoughts about the virus. Instead, you need to talk to your family, your friends and anyone who you wanted to text but couldn’t due to a busy schedule. Make sure to repair the bonds which have weakened because of this fast-paced technology driven era we are living in.
