PRP therapy might be effective when it comes to hair regrowth for some people but not for others. A 2015 study conducted on 20 participants only four individuals mentioned hair loss at 12 months after receiving their final treatment.
This procedure was acknowledged by Twenty people in a 2014 study Trusted Source and it was realized that PRP raised the hair density and its optimum level was reached in three months. However, hair density went on reducing after 6 months of treatment. The researchers also recommended, thus, that PRP be done after the sixth months for optimal outcome.
